Chris Flexen helped the NorCal Grizzlies (CA) clinch the Week 10 title at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2007.

Chris graduated from Newark Memorial High School (Newark, CA) where he pitched for the baseball team and was quarterback for the football team. He originally committed to play baseball at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) but decided to make the leap to professional baseball when he was drafted by the New York Mets in the 2012 Major League Baseball amateur draft right out of high school.

Chris made his major league debut on the mound on July 27, 2017.
