Mark Mathias

Mark Mathias and the NorCal Grizzlies (CA) won the week 10 championship at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2007. He hit two home-runs to help lead his team in the victory.

Mark graduated from Irvington High School (Fremont, CA) where he helped his baseball team to a second-place finish in the Mission Valley League and to the semifinal round of the CIF-North Coast Section Division I playoffs. He earned MVP and first-team All-Mission Valley League honors as well as second-team All-East Bay honors as an infielder. During the summer of 2011, Mark played in the 17U WWBA national tournament in Georgia as well as the Area Code Games for the Oakland A's in Long Beach and also played for Headfirst Bercovich in Connie Mack and California Club Baseball and participated in the Rawlings NorCal World Series and Bay Area World Series. He earned a scholar-athlete award for the baseball team.

Mark went on to attend and play three successful collegiate seasons of baseball at Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo, CA). He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 3rd round of the 2015 Major League Baseball amateur draft.
