2002 Week N.A.T.C. Champions - West Coast Rebels (Oak Park, California)

National American Tournament of Champions - West Coast Rebels (California). The #6 seeded Rebels of Oak Park, California defeated the #1 seeded Cooper City Diamond Kings 5-3 to win the championship. Robert Stock led the way for the Rebels by throwing a two hitter while striking out 13. Stock also went 3 for 3 at the plate including the game winning home run in the 5th inning with one man aboard. Josh Reece and D. J. Thomas also homered for the champions who were managed by Bryan Maloney. Austin Yager homered for the Cooper City Diamond Kings.

2002 Week #10 Champions - Tamiami Rangers (Miami, Florida)

Week #10 Champions - Tamiami Rangers (Florida). The #6 seeded Rangers from Miami, Florida had to go to 9 innings in order to subdue the #13 seeded Susquehanna River Raiders of Pennsylvania 6-4. Yoe Lopez hammered two home runs in the game, both with one man aboard, including the walk-off game winner in the bottom of the ninth inning. George Bahadue who relieved in the 9th got the victory for Manager Noel Jimenez and the Rangers. Bahadue also homered in the fifth inning with no one on. Tamiami outhit the River Raiders 9 to 7 in the contest. The River Raiders left 11 men on base to only 2 for the Rangers. Tamiami pitcher struck out 14 of the opposing batters.

Week #9 Champions - Belmont Bulldogs (California). The top seeded Bulldogs from California got a complete game, three-hit pitching, and ten strike out performance from Kevin Miller for the championship. Catcher David Johnson homered in the fifth inning with Trace Biskin aboard in the victory for Manager, Alan Karcich. Jimmy Risi homered twice for the 16th seeded Chicago North Shore Stars of Illinois.

2002 Week #8 Champions - Las Vegas Titans (Nevada)

Week #8 Champions - Las Vegas Titans (NV). The #3 Las Vegas Titans squeezed the winning run across in the bottom of the fourth inning to defeat the #9 Fresno Blue Devils of Fresno, California 10-9 . Phil Lial scored on a squeeze bunt by Jeff Malm but it was the speedy C.J. Amaya who was the winning pitcher after coming on in relief in the 3rd inning who also homered and scored the go ahead run at that time on a single by German Barajas off the top of the outfield wall. Barajas picked up the save by coming in to shut the door on the Blue Devils in the 6th. Titans catcher John Rickard hit a grand slam home run in the first after the Blue Devils had hit two home runs in the top half of the inning. Amaya homered in the 2nd inning with none on and Jeff Malm hit a home run in the third inning with one on. The Fresno Blue Devils were lead by Clay Cedarquist with two home runs (1st with one on and again in the 2nd with two on) and Nick Youpel with none on in the first. The Las Vegas Titans were managed by Mark Iodence.

2002 Week #7 Champions - Beaver Valley Red of Pennsylvania

Week #7 Champions - Beaver Valley Red (PA). The #6 Beaver Valley Red of Beaver Valley, Pennsylvania continued their torid hitting with a 15 -1 win over the #9 seeded West Pines Cobras of Pembroke Pines, Florida to win the Week #7 championship. Quentin Williams of Beaver Valley was the winning pitcher. He struck out 10 and gave up two hits in the five inning contest. Williams also hit two home runs. In the first with none on and his walkoff homer in the 5th with two on. Tyler Savisky of Beaver Valley also homered in the first inning with one man on while teammates Matt Kosik and Danny Jergel also had round trippers. Robert Haire homered for the West Pines Cobras in the third inning with no one aboard. For Beaver Valley's Manager, Brian Smith, it was the second consecutive Week #7 championship.

2002 Week #6 Champions - South Wake Storm of North Carolina

Week #6 Champions - South Wake Storm of North Carolina. The #4 seeded South Wake Storm dominated the Week #6 championship with an 11-0 victory over the #7 Lake Worth Hurricanes. Cory Thompson pitched a complete game giving up only 5 hits while striking out 4. Cameron Conner, the Storm designated hitter, homered twice. In the first with 2 men on and again in the third with none on. For the game Conner was 3-3 with 5 runs batted in. Steele Myers also homered for the Storm in the second inning with one man aboard. Craig Farmer was 2-2.

Week #5 Champions - Colorado Reds of Denver, Colorado. The #4 Colorado Reds defeated the #7 seeded Central Florida Fury of Orlando, Florida 2-1 to win the title at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Nate Olson scored on a pass ball in the 5th inning after Brett Nathan had driven in the tying run with a single to right with the bases loaded. Alex Haag of the Reds went the distance in picking up the win while giving up 4 hits and striking out 6. Nick Godfrey of the Fury homered with none on in the 3rd inning to account for the only Fury run.

2002 Week #4 Champions - Ocee Park Stars (Alpharetta, Georgia)

Week #4 Champions - Ocee Park Stars of Georgia . The #7 Ocee Park Stars defeated the #1 seeded Wichita Outlaws of Kansas 5-3 to win the title at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The Stars were managed by Neal Freeman. Blake Porche started for the Stars and was relieved by James Ramsey in the second inning before giving way to Chase Davidson in the fifth. Ramsey picked up the win and Davidson the save. For Davidson he struck out alll five of the batters he faced in the 5th and 6th Innings. Drew McWhorter homered for the Ocee Park Stars in the second inning with one man on while Bret Lentz homered for the Outlaws in the 5th inning with no one on.

2002 Week #3 Champions - Cooper City Diamond Kings (Florida)

Week #3 Champions - Cooper City Diamond Kings of Florida . The #7 Diamond Kings defeated the #1 seeded Miami Mudcats 5-1 to win the title at Cooperstown Dreams Park providing Manager Michael Hosmer with the victory. Cooper City scored three runs in the first on a Joe Belviso two-run home run which provided the margin of victory. Ramon Ortega picked up the complete game victory giving up 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 7. Ortega also homered in the 6th inning with one man aboard.

2002 Week #2 Champions - Boynton Gators, Florida
Week #2 Champions - Boynton Gators of Lake Workth, Florida. The #4 seeded Gators scored nine runs in the second inning to take the lead and defeat the #3 seeded Mac 'N Seitz Indians of Kansas 12-3. Ben Carhart got the win for the Gators after relieving starter Sean Adelman in the second inning. Carhart pitched five innings, striking out eight and giving up no hits in the win. Home run support from his teammates, Vinny Contaldi (2nd inning, none on) and Ryan Lashlety (3rd inning, none on) added to the victory. The Mac 'N Seitz Indians were led by Riley Reynolds (1st inning, none on) and Cameron Seitzer (1st inning, one on) who both homered. It was the first ever performance for a Kansas team in the championship game at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

2002 10U Champions - San Diego Stars North (San Diego, California)
10 U Champions (Week #1 2002) - San Diego Stars North (San Diego, California). They defeated Team Mizuno (Orlando, Florida) 1-0 in the championship game of Week #1. Garrett Hughes struck out eight batters while going all the way on the mound for the Stars as he picked up the win. Patrick Wisdom scored the deciding run in the second inning as he walked, stole second base, advanced to third on a fielders choice and then scored on a wild pitch.
