Kaohu Gasper

Kaohu Gasper and the Silicon Valley Xtreme (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 7 in 2004. He returned Week 3 in 2006 as a coach. Kaohu's Cooperstown Dreams Park's memories include hitting 8 home runs, pin trading, and staying in the clubhouses.

Kaohu attended and graduated from St. Francis Central Coast High School (Watsonville, CA) where he lettered three years in baseball as well as lettering in soccer, football and basketball. Kaohu was named St. Francis Pitcher of the Year in 2008 and was a team captain while earning second-team all-league honors in 2008 and 2009. Playing baseball and attending Fresno State University (Fresno, CA) followed his graduation from high school.

Kaohu played two seasons at Fresno State, 2010 and 2011. He helped the team clinch the WAC championship titles both years. Kaohu's final two collegiate years was spent at Fresno Pacific University (Fresno, CA). During his junior season (2013), he made 42 starts in the outfield, earning All-PacWest honors, while finishing the season with a .326 BA. His final collegiate season (2014), Kaohu helped his team clinch the NCCAA National title and was named first team ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-West Region, NCAA Division II NCBWA All-West Region, All-PacWest and NCCAA All-West Region. He led the PacWest with a .473 on-base percentage and was second in the league in batting average, hitting a team-high .388.

Kaohu spent the rest of 2014 playing for the Roswell Invaders in New Mexio. In 2015, he transitioned to the Pacific League/Independent Ball with the San Rafael Pacifics. .
