Shane Bieber

Shane Bieber and the ASD Bulldogs (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 12 in 2008. Shane hit a total of 5 home runs throughout the tournament helping his team to a 7-0 pool play record en route to advancing to the semi-finals of single-elimination tournament.

Shane graduated from Laguna Hills High School (Laguna Hills, CA) where he played three years of varsity baseball. His positions were listed as third base, outfield and pitcher. Shane posted an 8-4 record on the mound his senior year. His accolades his senior year included playing in the 2013 Orange County All-Star Game, named Team MVP, and made First Team All-League. Shane was also a three-time scholar athlete.

Shane continued his academic and baseball career at University of California, Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). A right-handed pitcher, Shane was named 2015 All-Big West Second Team, 2016 Preseason Big West Pitcher of the Year, 2016 All-Big West First Team, and 2016 Rawlings Second Team All-American.

Shane made the transition to professional baseball when he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. His major league debut was on May 31, 2018. Shane was awarded the American League Cy Young honor at the end of the 2020 season. He also received two time All-Star (2019, 2021), All-MLB First Team (2020), Triple Crown (2020), and Gold Glove Award (2022) honors.
