Jacob Budyka played at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Middleburg Heights Hornets (OH) in 2009 during Week 8.

Jacob graduated from St. Edward High School (Lakewood, OH) where he played football and baseball. His accolades included two-time Football D1 State Champions (2014, 2015), 2015 Co-Offensive Player of the Year (baseball), 2015 CLE Area Player of the Year (football), and 2016 Defensive MVP and Player of the Year (2016).

Jacob went on to Notre Dame College (South Euclid, OH) where he majored in Finance and was a pitcher on the baseball team and punter/kicker on the football team. Jacob helped his 2019 football team clinch the MEC Conference Championship.

Prior to graduating from college, Jacob coached five seasons with the Force Ohio baseball organization. After receiving his four-year degree, he coached one season at D1 NJCAA Andrew College (Cuthbert, GA). Jacob then joined the staff at IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) as a math teacher.
