Cody Kyser

Cody Kyser and the Jamestown Jock Shop (NY) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2001 during Week 8. Cody’s memorable moments throughout his week were the friendships he made on his team that still last to this day, staying in the clubhouses, the food, playing teams from different states, meeting people from all over the country and feeling like a celebrity.

 

Cody graduated from Westfield Academy (Westfield, NY) where he played baseball, basketball, football, and volleyball. He was also involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Yearbook Club. Cody’s accolades include Kiwanis Leadership, Bestine Scholarship, Air Force Scholar Athlete Award, Westfield Academy Coach’s Award, Bob North Award, Alastair Nixon Award, 1st Team All WNY (football and baseball), and 1st Team All-County (football and baseball).

 

Cody went on to play baseball for one season at Jamestown Community College (Jamestown, NY). He then went on to SUNY Fredonia (Fredonia, NY) where he was on the Dean’s List and graduated with B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in marketing. He is now the owner/operator of five Tim Hortons franchise restaurants.
