Tommy Kahnle competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2001 during Week 6 with the Albany Wolfpack (NY) and in 2002 in Week 10 with the Latham Buzz (NY) and Week 11 with the North Colonie Titans (NY).
Tommy graduated from Shaker High School (Latham, NY) where he was a member of the baseball team. He went on to attend and play baseball at Lynn University (Boca Raton, FL).
After his sophomore season at Lynn University, Tommy was selected in the 5th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft by the New York Yankees. He made the decision to make the leap to professional baseball. Tommy was traded to the Colorado Rockies in December of 2013, making his major league debut on April 3, 2014. He was traded to the Chicago White Sox on November 24, 2015.Tommy made his way back to the New York Yankees on July 18, 2017, when he was traded. He then helped the Yankees reach the 2024 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
