Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor and the Tidewater Drillers Team Virginia (VA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Tournament 3 in 2003. Chris helped his team reach the Elite 8 during the single-elimination tournament.

Chris graduated from Frank W. Cox High School (Virginia Beach, VA) where he was a member of the varsity baseball team. He committed to and attended University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA), becoming the starting shortstop during his sophomore year. Chris was selected in the 2012 Major League Baseball Amateur draft by the Seattle Mariners.

Chris made his major league debut on July 24, 2014. At the beginning of the 2016 season, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The following season, he was named the 2017 National League Championship Series MVP. Chris and the Dodgers clinched the World Series title in 2020 and 2024.
