Brad Hand and the Eastview Lightning (MI) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2002 during Week 10.
Brad graduated from Chaska High School (Chaska, MN) where he was letter winners for football, hockey and baseball. During the 2008 Major League Baseball Amateur draft, Brad was selected in the 2nd round by the Florida Marlins. He made the decision to not head to Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) and made the leap to professional baseball. He made his major league debut on June 7, 2011.
Brad was traded to the San Diego Padres in 2016, then headed to the Cleveland Indians in 2018. During the 2021 season, Brad spent time with the Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets before finding a home with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022 where he reached the 2022 World Series against the Houston Astros.
