Joel Krywcun and the Buffalo Wings (NY) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2010 during Week 12. He pitched five scoreless relief innings during a 10-inning playoff game, helping his team to victory. Joel returned as an assistant coach with the Great Lakes Gators during Week 11 in 2016.

Joel graduated from Maryvale High School (Buffalo, NY) where he was on the baseball, swimming and golf teams. Primarily a pitcher, he threw two no-hitters during his high school baseball career. Joel was named MVP of the New York State Legion Baseball championship game in 2015.

Joel went on to attend and play baseball at Niagara County Community College (Sanborn, NY).
