Christopher Boes and the B&B Troopers (NJ) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park in 2008 during Week 10. He helped his team reach the Sweet 16 by hitting 4 home runs and recording 2 wins and 2 saves from the mound. One of those pitching wins was against Las Vegas which advanced the team to play on Thursday morning.
Christopher enjoyed continued success on the diamond in high school at West Milford High School (West Milford, NJ). He was a three-year varsity starter in baseball as well as football and was named the team MVP in both sports. Christopher was a 1st Team All-League and 2nd Team All County in football. For baseball, he was named 1st Team All-League and 1st Team All County. During his sophomore year, the baseball team was league and Group 3 Section champions.
Christopher went on to play football at Lycoming College (Williamsport, PA) and continued his education with a professional goal to become a cop. Unfortunately, shortly before starting his internship with the Federal Marshalls his junior year, Christopher tragically lost his life in a car accident. Christopher was just 20 years old and is missed by his loving family.
