Cullen Blanchfield competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 2 in 2012 with the Los Altos-Mountain View Mavericks (CA). He was a King of Swat finalist during his respective week at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Cullen graduated from Mountain View High School (Mountain View, CA) with a 3.8 GPA and a 30 ACT score, receiving a California Federation Scholarship.  His high school accolades on the diamond included three-time 1st team All League, Team MVP, and 2016 All CCS Honorable Mention.

Cullen continued academic success while a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and SMU Club Ice Hockey while attending Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX).
