Brad Johnson first attended Cooperstown Dreams Park as a player in 2001 with the Skokie Indians (IL) during week 9. He later returned as head coach of the Glencoe Blue Thunder (IL) during week 2 in 2009. In addition to competing as a player and a coach, Brad made two more trips to Cooperstown Dreams Park to watch his brother play.

As a player, Brad was a participant in the Golden Arm competition. He has great memories of his times at Cooperstown Dreams Park. After returning home from his recent coaching experience, he wore his coach's bracelet for months after.

Brad graduated cum laude from Glenbrook South High School (Glenview, IL). At Glenbrook, Brad was on the baseball and football teams. He received many awards during high school: Most Improved Player for baseball, Principal's Award for Outstanding P.E. Leader, Football Peer Mentor, and Football Huddle Group Leader. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

After high school, Brad attended and graduated from Syracuse University (Syracuse, NY). His activities at Syracuse included intramural captain for softball, football and basketball, Students in Free Enterprise (SIPE), and a soup kitchen volunteer in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Brad received the Chancellor's Scholarship, an academic award, and was on the Dean's List.

Brad's success has carried over into his professional career. He spent eight years as a basketball camp counselor, three years as a head travel baseball coach, and currently is a Business/Financial analyst for Fromm International.
