Josh Goossen-Brown

Josh Goossen-Brown attended Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 10 in 2003 with the Toluca Titans. Josh and the Titans advanced to the Final 4.

Josh graduated in 2009 from Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, CA) where he played soccer, football and baseball. On the diamond, Josh helped his team win the CIF championship in 2008 and the league title in 2009. In 2009, he was named First Team All-CIF and earned league and team MVP awards along with being named to the First Team All-Mission League, Second Team All-State, First Team LA Daily News and All-Tournament Team of the Anderson Bat National Classic.

Josh’s baseball career continued at Los Angeles Valley College (Valley Glen, VA) where he played for one season, winning the Western State Conference Southern Division Championship in 2010. He was named the Division Player of the Year and team MVP, named as a Southern California All-American and was named First Team All-Western State Conference, ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Second Team All-American, Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association All-Star, and earned a Western State Conference Gold Glove.

Josh transferred to California State University Northridge (Northridge, CA) prior to his sophomore season (2011). He suffered an injury and was forced to sit out the 2012 season but returned to the field in 2013, leading his team offensively and defensively (.279 BA, 60 hits, and 47 RBI).

Josh transitioned to his professional baseball career when he was picked by the Chicago White Sox during the 2014 Major League Baseball Amateur draft.
