Grace Lyons

Grace Lyons and the AZ Warriors Baseball Academy (AZ) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park Week 13 in 2012. Heading into the single-elimination tournament, Grace helped her team to 5-1 record for the 13th seed out of 104 teams.

Graced attended high school and played softball at Sandra Day O'Connor High School (Phoenix, AZ). Primarily playing short stop, Grace also played second base and centerfield. She hit .526 in 2017 with 47 runs scored, 35 runs batted in, seven home runs, 14 doubles, three triples and nine stolen bases. Grace led her team to the 6A state championship in 2016 as team captain and was named an NFCA Second-Team All-Region honoree in 2016 and a three-time all-region and all-division selection. She also led her travel team, Firecrackers (Huntington Beach, CA), to the 2017 Canada Cup Championship and the 2017 TCS Fireworks Championship. After graduating high school in 2018, she headed to The University of Oklahoma (Norma, OK) to continue her education and playing softball.

As a freshman (2019), Grace started all 63 games at short stop. She was ranked second on the team with 54 assists and 10 HBP and was named to the 2019 All-Big 12 Freshman Team. During her sophomore season (2020), she was an Academic All-Big 12 first team honoree and started all 24 games at short stop, ranking second on team with 40 assists, 23 RBIs and three HBP.
