Jack Schutzius participated at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Colorado Mudcats (CO) during Week 2 in 2005 and the Rocky Mountain Steel (CO) during Week 3 in 2006. Among Jack's Cooperstown Dreams Park memories are the four home runs he hit and the 2006 title game. As a member of the Rocky Mountain Steel, Jack appeared in the championship game where his team, the second seed, fell to top-seeded Miami Force (FL), 15-4.

Jack graduated from Cherry Creek High School (Greenwood Village, CO). He was a member of the varsity baseball team and National Honor Society. An infielder, Jack posted a .413 BA his junior year (2010) and a .440 BA his senior year (2011). He hit 12 doubles, three triples and five home runs his final varsity season. Jack plans to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level, playing at the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH).
