Trevor Gretsky


Trevor Gretzky and the Westlake Warriors (CA) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 6 in 2005.

A quarterback on the varsity football team and first baseman on the diamond, Trevor attended and competed at Oaks Christian School (Westlake Village, CA), helping both teams win league titles his junior and senior seasons. A three-year member of the varsity baseball team, Trevor's stats his junior year (2010) included .341 batting average, .441 on-base percentage, .518 slugging percentage, .979 field percentage, 20 runs, and 33 RBI. He was a First-team all-Tri-Valley honoree and named to the Far West Super Regional team. Trevor had a .393 batting average his senior year (2011).

Trevor, who was committed to San Diego State University (San Diego, CA), was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the seventh round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Amateur draft. Trevor began his professional baseball career in 2012 with the Cubs' rookie league squad the Arizona League Cubs.
