David Hensley competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the North County Longhorns (CA) in 2008 during N.A.T.C.

David graduated from Patrick Henry High School (San Diego, CA) where he earned three varsity baseball letters and was team captain all three seasons. David’s accolades include All-CIF and team MVP honors.

Following high school, David attended and played baseball at San Diego State (San Diego, CA). During the 2018 Major League Baseball Amateur draft, David was selected by the Houston Astros. He made his major league debut on August 27, 2022, and went on to win the 2022 World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
