Cooperstown dreams park est. 1996

Jonathan Lombardo

Jonathan Lombardo was able to compete at Cooperstown Dreams Park three separate times, allowing him to build several memorable moments, all with the Jamestown Jock Shop Cooperstown Kids (NY) – Week 5 in 1999; Week 7 in 2000; and Week 8 in 2001.

His memories of Dreams Park include the Opening Ceremony and parade, competing in the Skills Competitions, playing with kids from across the continent, and staying in the Village. He was also able to bond with players from other teams, trade pins, visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame, participate in the Induction/Ring Ceremony, and watch the championship game.

Jonathan helped his high school baseball team at Frewsburg High School (Frewsburg, NY) clinch 3 NYSPHSAA Section VI championships, 2 Regional titles, and twice a state finalist. In addition to baseball, Jonathan also played on the basketball and soccer teams. He was a member of the Varsity Club and a volunteer for the Special Olympics.

Jonathan continued his education and baseball career at Medaille College (Buffalo, NY). After completing his college education as a criminal justice major, Jonathan graduated from the Chesterfield County Police Department Basic Police Academy where he is a Senior Officer.
