Logan Allen competed on four different weeks at Cooperstown Dreams Park during the 2010 season – Carolina Cougars (NC), The Louisville Sluggers (KY), Orange County Ball Hawgs (CA), and The 3n2 Bombers (FL).
A pitcher, Logan dominated on the mound playing for all four years on his high school team at IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL). His senior year (2015), Logan posted a 9-0 record with an ERA of 0.87 and 73 strikeouts in 48.1 innings of working. Throughout his time at IMG Academy, Logan received the IMG Award, Cy Young Award twice, MVP four times and was team captain for two seasons. Logan also served as a Student Resident Advisor and Student Ambassador at IMG Academy.
Graduating high school with a 3.8 GPA, Logan received a baseball scholarship to attend the University of South Carolina (Columbia, SC). However, he made the leap to professional baseball when he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 8th round. He spent the rest of 2015 in the Gulf Coast League helping win the league championship. In November of 2015, Logan was traded to the San Diego Padres and played for the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Fort Wayne, IN).
