Chevez Clarke was a member of the East Cobb Redhawks (GA) during week 6 in 2004. He is now a 2010 graduate of Marietta High School (Marietta, GA) and the 30th first-round pick of the 2010 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. Chevez was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Prior to the draft, Chevez committed to playing at Georgia Tech (Atlanta, GA).

After the 2010 draft, Chevez decided to make the leap to professional baseball. He is currently (2011) playing in the Arizona Rookie League with the Arizona League Angels (Tempe, AZ). His 2010 stats include a .216 BA, 38 G, 162 AB, 26 R, 35 H, and 16 RBI.
